We are living in unprecedented times. Given the concern about Coronavirus (COVID-19), I wanted to let you know what I am doing to keep you safe when you come in to see me, also, what you can do to help.
What we are doing

Following advice for clinics from Public Health England, I have taken the following measures: 

•    I am regularly cleaning surfaces throughout the office including desks, doors, door handles and tables. 
•    I am regularly washing and disinfecting hands thoroughly throughout the day. I am no longer shaking hands as a greeting. 
•    Hand sanitiser is available for your use whilst you are here and I will invite you to use it on arrival.
•    I ask that clients wash their hands before entering the practice.

In addition, I enforce a 2 metre social separation, use bottled water, individual tissue packets - air the room between sessions. 

 

What you can do

•    I am asking anyone who is ill, especially those experiencing a fever and a new continuous cough, to call to let me know on 07970977146, and not attend the appointment.

•    I request that those who have been in contact with an infected person or have recently been to a high risk country, call me on 07970977146 and not attend their appointment.

 

These measures will minimise the risk of passing on an infection. By taking a few sensible precautions and working together we can reduce the risk of infection, reduce the disruption to daily life and ensure that everyone who needs to see us is safe. 

 

In addition, I am asking high risk - vulnerable clients to book and use 'facetime' or 'skype' as a medium rather than 1:1 sessions. 

Phone consultations and advice

If you are not feeling well enough to attend your appointment, have chosen to self-isolate, or practise social distancing, please note that I am happy to offer sessions over the phone - I am also highlighting MP3 availability.

The health and well being of my clients and their families is of the utmost importance to me so I will continue to follow government guidelines as and when they are updated and update my practice policies accordingly.

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT

 

1. Information that you provide by filling in forms on our website which includes requesting further services and signing up to any newsletters at a later date via Mail Chimp. This includes your name and email address and contact number should you provide it.
2. If you contact me by letter or email, records of the correspondence may be kept.
3. Details of transactions you may carry out through our site and of the fulfilment and administration of your orders. This includes your name, address, email address and payment method.
4. Details of your visits to this site including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data, whether this is required for our own billing purposes or otherwise and the resources that you access and use.

WHERE WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

 

1. Personal data that I collect from you via any contact forms or orders placed through our site will either be sent securely to our email address which is Gmail, or will be stored on our website servers inside the European Economic Area (“EEA”).
2. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. I will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

 

EMAIL MARKETING

 

If you sign up to the newsletter, your details are stored by Mail Chimp. This newsletter may be used to inform subscribers about products, services and/or news we supply/publish. Users can subscribe through an online automated process where they have given their explicit permission. Subscriber personal details are collected, processed, managed and stored in accordance with the regulations named in this policy. Subscribers can unsubscribe at any time through an automated online service, or if not available, other means as detailed in the footer of sent marketing messages. The type and content of marketing messages subscribers receive, and if it may contain third party content, is clearly outlined at the point of subscription.

Email marketing messages may contain tracking beacons / tracked clickable links or similar server technologies in order to track subscriber activity within email marketing messages. Where used, such marketing messages may record a range of subscriber data relating to engagement, geographic, demographics and already stored subscriber data.

1. To provide you with information, products or services that you request from us or which we feel may interest you, where you have consented to be contacted for such purposes.

I do not disclose your personal information to third parties, or if I am placed under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation.

You have the following rights:

• To be informed what information I hold (i.e. this document).
• To access the information I hold about you (free of charge for the initial request).
• To rectify any inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
• To data portability
• The right to object
• The right to not be subjected to automated decision making including profiling
• To withdraw consent to me using your personal information.
• To request your personal information be erased (this is not possible due to the nature of health services offered. Insurance condition stipulates storage for 7 years before destruction).

Social Media Policy & Usage

 

I adopt a Social Media Policy to ensure my business and our staff conduct themselves accordingly online. While we may have official profiles on social media platforms users are advised to verify authenticity of such profiles before engaging with, or sharing information with such profiles. We will never ask for user passwords or personal details on social media platforms. Users are advised to conduct themselves appropriately when engaging with me on social media.

There may be instances where this website features social sharing buttons, which help share web content directly from web pages to the respective social media platforms. You use social sharing buttons at your own discretion and accept that doing so may publish content to your social media profile feed or page.
