More information about depression
The NHS states that:

Depression is not trivial. That is my first message, it is not a sign of being weak or needing to pull yourself together, man-up or just simply snap out of it.
Depression is real, but, with the right support and treatment anyone can go on to make a full recovery. People with a family history are more likely to experience depression themselves. If you are depressed and life-style changes are not working, inform your GP that you are going to be working with a clinical hypnotherapist who works with the Human Givens theories in order to beat depression.
Depression will not last forever. There is always sun after rain and it doesn't rain forever even if we think it does at the time...
